At 2 years old already stands over 15.2 hands. She travels with the Friesian elegance and is ready and willing to learn. She has been handled daily, stands tied quietly, loads in the trailer, bathes. ''Aspen'' is out of one of my brightest and most intelligent dressage mares and our Friesian Stallion, Zephan (sired by the great Warn 335). He has been handled daily and has all of his basics down. We have started saddling and ground driving him. He loads in the trailer, stands quietly for the farrier, bathes with no issues. He is not spooky and is a pure gentleman. This gelding naturally jumps 4' fences if he gets the notion and wants grass on the other side. He can stand on his hind feet and pull hay bales out of the loft. So although he may be a character to keep busy, he is a natural athlete like we have never seen before. We have all the basics done and all he will need this spring is someone to climb on and start his training.
